Faithless People and a Faithful God
The story of "Faithless People and a Faithful God" tells how the Israelites kept making bad choices after Joshua died. They would turn away from God and start worshipping idols, which got them into trouble. They were often ruled by bad leaders like King Jabin and the Midianites because of their disobedience. But God still helped them by sending judges, like Deborah and Gideon, to rescue them. Even though Gideon was from a weak family, he led a small army to win a big battle with God's help. Another judge, Samson, had many personal struggles, but God still used him to defeat the Philistines, even though Samson had to sacrifice himself. The story shows how the Israelites kept turning away from God, but God promised to help them in the future.
